Daiba, literally meaning "fort", is the name given to some of the man-made islands in Tokyo Bay. The islands are connected to the mainland by an impressive 918 metre-long suspension bridge.
Designed by the famous architect Kenzo Tange, Raibow Bridge was completed in 1993.
